Ahold Delhaize
Ahold Delhaize is an international food retail group based in Zaandam, and is the parent company to The Giant Co., Giant Food, Stop & Shop, Food Lion and Hannaford. I currently work in Carlisle, PA as Design Manager, providing creative solutions within their private brand portfolio. While I manage a team of creatives and production artists, the work shown below is of my own creation, illustration and execution.
Giant Co-branded Hard Cider
Since early 2020 The GIANT Company has continued to partner with local craft breweries building a line of co-branded ales that provides unique offerings within their beer gardens. In 2021 the collaboration expanded the into the world of hard cider with Wyndridge Farm and Giant Donut! Packaging features a Giant donut truck, with a giant donut on top, doing a giant donut! The cider was merchandised with fresh apple cider donuts from Giant’s bakery in matching branding. So consumers could buy cider flavored donuts with donut flavored cider.
In Boston David Pastrňák is endearingly referred to as “Pasta”. Releasing his own Pasta within the Stop & Shop brand just makes sense. https://www.barstoolsports.com/blog/3387353/david-pastrnak-getting-his-own-pasta-is-the-most-on-brand-thing-ever-oh-and-its-for-a-good-cause

Giant/Stop & Shop Imported Italian Dry Pasta
Imported Italian Dry Pasta was my first big win at Ahold since joining in 2012. It is a prime example of leveraging current brand equities while broadening the creative tool kit to elevate a particular segment or category. The concept was created to live within the Giant / Stop & Shop branding from that time and hinges on the imported quality of the product, transforming the existing architecture to a parcel that was hand packed and shipped straight to the consumer.

Degrees is a second tier branding of 180s within national retail department stores expanding the access of their universal design to larger demographics. I executed a brand refresh for ear warmer packaging in 2012.
